ये पुरा कुरु राष्ट्राणि जह्रुः कुरु धनानि च ते नागपुरसिंहेन पाण्डुना करदाः कृताः ।। १-१०५-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'Those who had previously taken away the territories and wealth of the Kurus were turned into mere vassals by Pandu, the lion of the city of Nagapura.' ।। 1-105-21 ।।

'Accompanied by Bhishma, the Kauravas encountered an endless procession brought forth by various vehicles and adorned with jewels both precious and semi-precious. This grand assembly was further enriched by the finest elephants, horses, chariots, cows, camels, and mules. The sheer scale and diversity of the spectacle was such that the Kauravas, even in the company of Bhishma, found no end to it upon their arrival.' ।। 1-105-24 ।।
