[वै] ततॊ राज्ञां चरैर आप्तैश चारः समुपनीयत पाण्डवैर उपसंपन्ना दरौपदी पतिभिः शुभा ॥ १-१९२-१ ॥

'Vaisampayana said, 'The news was conveyed to all the monarchs who had come to Draupadi's Swayamvara by their trusted spies that the beautiful Draupadi had been wedded to the sons of Pandu.' ॥ 1-192-1 ॥

येन तद धनुर आयम्य लक्ष्यं विद्धं महात्मना सॊ ऽरजुनॊ जयतां शरेष्ठॊ महाबाणधनुर्धरः ॥ १-१९२-२ ॥

'They were also informed that the illustrious hero who had bent the bow and shot the mark was none other than Arjuna, the foremost among victorious warriors and the premier archer among all.' ॥ 1-192-2 ॥

यः शल्यं मद्रराजानम उत्क्षिप्याभ्रामयद बली तरासयंश चापि संक्रुद्धॊ वृक्षेण पुरुषान रणे ॥ १-१९२-३ ॥

'The mighty warrior who had thrown down Salya, the king of Madra, and who had struck fear into the assembled monarchs by uprooting a tree, stood before all his enemies with unparalleled fearlessness.' ॥ 1-192-3 ॥

न चापि संभ्रमः कश चिद आसीत तत्र महात्मनः स भीमॊ भीम संस्पर्शः शत्रुसेनाङ्गपातनः ॥ १-१९२-४ ॥

'This warrior was none other than Bhima, renowned for his prowess in battle, whose very touch could bring death to his foes.' ॥ 1-192-4 ॥

बरह्मरूपधराञ शरुत्वा पाण्डुराज सुतांस तदा कौन्तेयान मनुजेन्द्राणां विस्मयः समजायत ॥ १-१९२-५ ॥

'The monarchs were greatly surprised upon learning that the Pandavas had disguised themselves as peaceful Brahmins.' ॥ 1-192-5 ॥
