[आ] सॊमस्य यज्ञॊ वरुणस्य यज्ञः; परजापतेर यज्ञ आसीत परयागे तथा यज्ञॊ ऽयं तव भारताग्र्य; पारिक्षित सवस्ति नॊ ऽसतु परियेभ्यः ॥ १-५०-१ ॥

'Astika said, 'Soma, Varuna, and Prajapati conducted ancient sacrifices in Prayaga. However, your sacrifice, O foremost one of Bharata's lineage, O son of Parikshit, is in no way inferior to them. May those beloved to us be blessed!' ॥ 1-50-1 ॥

शक्रस्य यज्ञः शतसंख्य उक्तस; तथापरस तुल्यसंख्यः शतं वै तथा यज्ञॊ ऽयं तव भारताग्र्य; पारिक्षित सवस्ति नॊ ऽसतु परियेभ्यः ॥ १-५०-२ ॥

'Sakra conducted a hundred sacrifices, yet your sacrifice, O foremost descendant of Bharata, O son of Parikshit, is deemed equivalent to ten thousand of Sakra's sacrifices. May those close to us be blessed!' ॥ 1-50-2 ॥

यमस्य यज्ञॊ हरि मेधसश च; यथा यज्ञॊ रन्ति देवस्य राज्ञः तथा यज्ञॊ ऽयं तव भारताग्र्य; पारिक्षित सवस्ति नॊ ऽसतु परियेभ्यः ॥ १-५०-३ ॥

'Similar to the sacrifices of Yama, Harimedha, or King Rantideva, is your sacrifice, O foremost descendant of Bharata, O son of Parikshit. May those close to us be blessed!' ॥ 1-50-3 ॥

गयस्य यज्ञः शशबिन्दॊश च राज्ञॊ; यज्ञस तथा वैश्रवणस्य राज्ञः तथा यज्ञॊ ऽयं तव भारताग्र्य; पारिक्षित सवस्ति नॊ ऽसतु परियेभ्यः ॥ १-५०-४ ॥

'The sacrifice of Gayasura and the moon and the sacrifice of Kubera, the king, just as they contribute to the sacrifice of the king, similarly, O descendant of Bharata, your sacrifice also adds to it. May there be well-being for us and all.' ॥ 1-50-4 ॥

नृगस्य यज्ञस तव अजमीढस्य चासीद; यथा यज्ञॊ दाशरथेश च राज्ञः तथा यज्ञॊ ऽयं तव भारताग्र्य; पारिक्षित सवस्ति नॊ ऽसतु परियेभ्यः ॥ १-५०-५ ॥

'The sacrifice of Nriga and Ajamida, just as they contributed to the sacrifice of King Dasaratha, similarly, O descendant of Bharata, your sacrifice also adds to it. May there be well-being for us and all.' ॥ 1-50-5 ॥
