यज्ञः शरुतॊ नॊ दिवि देव सूनॊर; युधिष्ठिरस्याजमीढस्य राज्ञः तथा यज्ञॊ ऽयं तव भारताग्र्य; पारिक्षित सवस्ति नॊ ऽसतु परियेभ्यः ॥ १-५०-६ ॥
'Similar to the renowned sacrifice of King Yudhishthira, the son of a god, hailing from the Ajamida lineage, known even in the heavens, is your sacrifice, O foremost descendant of Bharata, O son of Parikshit. May those close to us be blessed!' ॥ 1-50-6 ॥

कृष्णस्य यज्ञः सत्यवत्याः सुतस्य; सवयं च कर्म परचकार यत्र तथा यज्ञॊ ऽयं तव भारताग्र्य; पारिक्षित सवस्ति नॊ ऽसतु परियेभ्यः ॥ १-५०-७ ॥
'Similar to the sacrifice of Krishna (Dwaipayana), the son of Satyavati, where he acted as the chief priest, is your sacrifice, O foremost descendant of Bharata, O son of Parikshit. May those close to us be blessed!' ॥ 1-50-7 ॥

इमे हि ते सूर्यहुताशवर्चसः; समासते वृत्रहणः करतुं यथा नैषां जञानं विद्यते जञातुम अद्य; दत्तं येभ्यॊ न परणश्येत कथं चित ॥ १-५०-८ ॥
'The Ritwiks and Sadasyas who are currently participating in your sacrifice, akin to the one performed by the slayer of Vritra, radiate a splendor equal to that of the sun. They have attained complete knowledge, and any gifts made to them become inexhaustible in merit.' ॥ 1-50-8 ॥

ऋत्विक समॊ नास्ति लॊकेषु चैव; दवैपायनेनेति विनिश्चितं मे एतस्य शिष्या हि कषितिं चरन्ति; सर्वर्विजः कर्मसु सवेषु दक्षाः ॥ १-५०-९ ॥
'It is my conviction that there is no Ritwik in all the worlds who is equal to thy Ritwik, Dwaipayana. His disciples, becoming Ritwiks, competent for their duties, travel over the earth.' ॥ 1-50-9 ॥

विभावसुश चित्रभानुर महात्मा; हिरण्यरेता विश्वभुक कृष्ण वर्त्मा परदक्षिणावर्तशिखः परदीप्तॊ; हव्यं तवेदं हुतभुग वष्टि देवः ॥ १-५०-१० ॥
'The high-souled bearer of libation (viz., Agni), called also Vibhavasu and Chitrabhanu, having gold for his vital seed and having his path, marked by black smoke, blazing up with flames inclined to the right, beareth these thy libations of clarified butter to the gods.' ॥ 1-50-10 ॥
