[दरुपद] एवम एतन महाप्राज्ञ यथात्थ विदुराद्य माम ममापि परमॊ हर्षः संबन्धे ऽसमिन कृते विभॊ ॥ १-१९९-१ ॥

'Vaisampayana said, "Upon hearing Vidura's words, Drupada replied, 'Indeed, O Vidura of great wisdom, what you have said is true. I too have been exceedingly happy because of this alliance."' ॥ 1-199-1 ॥

गमनं चापि युक्तं सयाद गृहम एषां महात्मनाम न तु तावन मया युक्तम एतद वक्तुं सवयं गिरा ॥ १-१९९-२ ॥

'It is indeed fitting that these illustrious princes should return to their ancestral kingdom. However, it is not appropriate for me to state this myself.' ॥ 1-199-2 ॥

यदा तु मन्यते वीरः कुन्तीपुत्रॊ युधिष्ठिरः भीमसेनार्जुनौ चैव यमौ च पुरुषर्षभौ ॥ १-१९९-३ ॥

'If the brave son of Kunti, Yudhishthira, along with Bhima and Arjuna, these mighty warriors, the twins, wish to go.' ॥ 1-199-3 ॥

राम कृष्णौ च धर्मज्ञौ तदा गच्छन्तु पाण्डवाः एतौ हि पुरुषव्याघाव एषां परियहिते रतौ ॥ १-१९९-४ ॥

'And if Rama (Balarama) and Krishna, both well-versed in every rule of morality, agree, then let the Pandavas proceed there. For these lions among men (Rama and Krishna) always act in ways that are agreeable and beneficial to the sons of Pandu' ॥ 1-199-4 ॥

[य] परवन्तॊ वयं राजंस तवयि सर्वे सहानुगाः यथा वक्ष्यसि नः परीत्या करिष्यामस तथा वयम ॥ १-१९९-५ ॥

'Hearing this, Yudhishthira said, "O monarch, my younger brothers and I are now entirely dependent on you. We will cheerfully follow whatever you command."' ॥ 1-199-5 ॥
