तं कृताञ्जलयः सर्वे परणता वसुधाधिपाः उपाजग्मुर धनं गृह्य रत्नानि विविधानि च ॥ १-१०५-१६ ॥
'And the kings of the earth with joined palms bowed to him and waited on him with presents of various kinds of gems and wealth.' ॥ 1-105-16 ॥
english translation
मणिमुक्ता परवालं च सुवर्णं रजतं तथा गॊरत्नान्य अश्वरत्नानि रथरत्नानि कुञ्जरान ॥ १-१०५-१७ ॥
'They brought gems, pearls, coral, gold and silver, jewels of cows, horses, chariots, and elephants.' ॥ 1-105-17 ॥

खरॊष्ट्रमहिषांश चैव यच च किं चिद अजाविकम तत सर्वं परतिजग्राह राजा नागपुराधिपः ॥ १-१०५-१८ ॥
'The king of Nagapura accepted everything, including mules, camels, buffaloes, and other livestock.' ॥ 1-105-18 ॥

तद आदाय ययौ पाण्डुः पुनर मुदितवाहनः हर्षयिष्यन सवराष्ट्राणि पुरं च गजसाह्वयम ॥ १-१०५-१९ ॥
'And the king of Hastinapura accepting those offerings retraced his steps towards his capital, to the great delight of his subjects.' ॥ 1-105-19 ॥

शंतनॊ राजसिंहस्य भरतस्य च धीमतः परनष्टः कीर्तिजः शब्दः पाण्डुना पुनर उद्धृतः ॥ १-१०५-२० ॥
'And the citizens and others filled with joy, and kings and ministers, all began to say, 'O, the fame of the achievements of Santanu, that tiger among kings, and of the wise Bharata, which was about to die, hath been revived by Pandu.' ॥ 1-105-20 ॥
