रथिनीम अश्वसंबाधां पदातिगणसंकुलाम अवस्थाप्य वनद्वारि सेनाम इदम उवाच सः ॥ १-६४-२६ ॥
'Having stationed his army with chariots and horses, densely packed with foot soldiers, at the entrance of the forest, he addressed the sage as follows:' ॥ 1-64-26 ॥

rathinIma azvasaMbAdhAM padAtigaNasaMkulAma avasthApya vanadvAri senAma idama uvAca saH ॥ 1-64-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमुनिं विरजसं दरष्टुं गमिष्यामि तपॊधनम काश्यपं सथीयताम अत्र यावदागमनं मम ॥ १-६४-२७ ॥
'I am off to behold the venerable ascetic of the lineage of Kashyapa, one unblemished by darkness. Remain here until I make my return.' ॥ 1-64-27 ॥
english translation
muniM virajasaM daraSTuM gamiSyAmi tapòdhanama kAzyapaM sathIyatAma atra yAvadAgamanaM mama ॥ 1-64-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतद वनं नन्दनप्रख्यम आसाद्य मनुजेश्वरः कषुत्पिपासे जहौ राजा हर्षं चावाप पुष्कलम ॥ १-६४-२८ ॥
'And the king having entered that forest which was like unto Indra's garden, soon forgot his hunger and thirst. And he was pleased beyond measure.' ॥ 1-64-28 ॥

tada vanaM nandanaprakhyama AsAdya manujezvaraH kaSutpipAse jahau rAjA harSaM cAvApa puSkalama ॥ 1-64-28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसामात्यॊ राजलिङ्गानि सॊ ऽपनीय नराधिपः पुरॊहित सहायश च जगामाश्रमम उत्तमम दिदृक्षुस तत्र तम ऋषिं तपॊ राशिम अथाव्ययम ॥ १-६४-२९ ॥
'And the monarch, laying aside all signs of royalty, entered that excellent asylum with but his minister and his priest, desirous of beholding that Rishi who was an indestructible mass of ascetic merit.' ॥ 1-64-29 ॥

sAmAtyò rAjaliGgAni sò 'panIya narAdhipaH puròhita sahAyaza ca jagAmAzramama uttamama didRkSusa tatra tama RSiM tapò rAzima athAvyayama ॥ 1-64-29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबरह्मलॊकप्रतीकाशम आश्रमं सॊ ऽभिवीक्ष्य च षट्पदॊद्गीत संघुष्टं नानाद्विज गणायुतम ॥ १-६४-३० ॥
'And the king saw that the asylum was like unto the region of Brahman. Here were bees sweetly humming and there were winged warblers of various species pouring forth their melodies.' ॥ 1-64-30 ॥
