ऋचॊ बह्वृच मुख्यैश च परेर्यमाणाः पदक्रमैः शुश्राव मनुजव्याघ्रॊ विततेष्व इह कर्मसु ॥ १-६४-३१ ॥
'In specific locations, that distinguished figure among men was greeted by the melodious chanting of Rigvedic hymns, performed by premier Brahmanas adhering to the precise norms of intonation. Other areas were adorned with Brahmanas skilled in the sacrificial rites, familiar with the supplementary Angas, and proficient in the hymns of the Yajurveda.' ॥ 1-64-31 ॥

Rcò bahvRca mukhyaiza ca pareryamANAH padakramaiH zuzrAva manujavyAghrò vitateSva iha karmasu ॥ 1-64-31 ॥

'In various corners of the ashram, the air resonated with the melodic chants of Saman hymns by Rishis devoted to their vows. Elsewhere, it was adorned with Brahmanas proficient in the Atharvan Veda.' ॥ 1-64-32 ॥

yajJavidyAGgavidbhiza ca karamadbhiza ca karamAna api amitAtmabhiH suniyataiH zuzubhe sa tadAzramaH ॥ 1-64-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथर्ववेद परवराः पूगयाज्ञिक संमताः संहिताम ईरयन्ति सम पदक्रमयुतां तु ते ॥ १-६४-३३ ॥
'Additionally, spaces were filled with the sound of those skilled in both the Atharvan Veda and the Saman hymns, reciting the Samhitas with precise adherence to the rules of intonation.' ॥ 1-64-33 ॥

'And at other places again, other Brahmanas well-acquainted with the science of orthoepy were reciting mantras of other kinds. In fact, that sacred retreat resounding with these holy notes was like unto a second region of Brahman himself.' ॥ 1-64-34 ॥

zabdasaMskAra saMyuktaM baruvadbhiza cAparaira davijaiH nAditaH sa babhau zarImAna barahmalòka ivAzramaH ॥ 1-64-34 ॥

'And there were many Brahmanas skilled in the art of making sacrificial platforms and in the rules of Krama in sacrifices, conversant with logic and the mental sciences, and possessing a complete knowledge of the Vedas.' ॥ 1-64-35 ॥
