अथर्ववेद परवराः पूगयाज्ञिक संमताः संहिताम ईरयन्ति सम पदक्रमयुतां तु ते ॥ १-६४-३३ ॥

'Additionally, spaces were filled with the sound of those skilled in both the Atharvan Veda and the Saman hymns, reciting the Samhitas with precise adherence to the rules of intonation.' ॥ 1-64-33 ॥
