कर्माणि च नरव्याघ्र धर्मॊपेतानि मानवाः धर्मम एवानुपश्यन्तश चक्रुर धर्मपरायणाः ॥ १-५८-२१ ॥
'O tiger among men, the people, endowed with righteousness, engaged in righteous deeds. Devoted to righteousness, they saw only righteousness and performed actions in accordance with Dharma.' ॥ 1-58-21 ॥
english translation
सवकर्मनिरताश चासन सर्वे वर्णा नराधिप एवं तदा नरव्याघ्र धर्मॊ न हरसते कव चित ॥ १-५८-२२ ॥
'All the varnas, O king, were diligently engaged in their respective duties. Thus, at that time, O tiger among men, righteousness did not wane, and there was no decline in adherence to Dharma by anyone.' ॥ 1-58-22 ॥
english translation
काले गावः परसूयन्ते नार्यश च भरतर्षभ फलन्त्य ऋतुषु वृष्काश च पुष्पाणि च फलानि च ॥ १-५८-२३ ॥
'And, O bull of the Bharata race, both kine and women gave birth to their offspring at the proper time. And trees bore flowers and fruit duly according to the seasons.' ॥ 1-58-23 ॥

एवं कृतयुगे सम्यग वर्तमाने तदा नृप आपूर्यते महीकृत्स्ना पराणिभिर बहुभिर भृशम ॥ १-५८-२४ ॥
'Thus, O king, with the advent of the Krita Yuga, the entire earth became populated with a multitude of beings.' ॥ 1-58-24 ॥

ततः समुदिते लॊके मानुषे भरतर्षभ असुरा जज्ञिरे कषेत्रे राज्ञां मनुजपुंगव ॥ १-५८-२५ ॥
'And, O noble scion of the Bharata lineage, in that auspicious state of the earthly realm, the Asuras, O ruler of men, commenced their births within royal lineages.' ॥ 1-58-25 ॥
