एवं कृतयुगे सम्यग वर्तमाने तदा नृप आपूर्यते महीकृत्स्ना पराणिभिर बहुभिर भृशम ॥ १-५८-२४ ॥

'Thus, O king, with the advent of the Krita Yuga, the entire earth became populated with a multitude of beings.' ॥ 1-58-24 ॥

evaM kRtayuge samyaga vartamAne tadA nRpa ApUryate mahIkRtsnA parANibhira bahubhira bhRzama ॥ 1-58-24 ॥
