काले गावः परसूयन्ते नार्यश च भरतर्षभ फलन्त्य ऋतुषु वृष्काश च पुष्पाणि च फलानि च ॥ १-५८-२३ ॥

sanskrit

'And, O bull of the Bharata race, both kine and women gave birth to their offspring at the proper time. And trees bore flowers and fruit duly according to the seasons.' ॥ 1-58-23 ॥

english translation

kAle gAvaH parasUyante nAryaza ca bharatarSabha phalantya RtuSu vRSkAza ca puSpANi ca phalAni ca ॥ 1-58-23 ॥
