तेन शापेन धर्मॊ ऽपि शूद्रयॊनाव अजायत विद्वान विदुर रूपेण धार्मी तनुर अकिल्बिषी ।। १-५७-८१ ।।

'Hence, as a consequence of the curse, Dharma incarnated on Earth in the Sudra order, assuming the form of the erudite Vidura, possessing a pure body and impeccably free from sin' ।। 1-57-81 ।।

tena zApena dharmò 'pi zUdrayònAva ajAyata vidvAna vidura rUpeNa dhArmI tanura akilbiSI || 1-57-81 ||

संजयॊ मुनिकल्पस तु जज्ञे सूतॊ गवल्गणात सूर्याच च कुन्ति कन्यायां जज्ञे कर्णॊ महारथः सहजं कवचं विभ्रत कुण्डलॊद्द्यॊतिताननः ।। १-५७-८२ ।।

'And the Suta was born of Kunti in her maidenhood through Surya. And he came out of his mother's womb with natural armor and face brightened by earrings.' ।। 1-57-82 ।।

english translation

saMjayò munikalpasa tu jajJe sUtò gavalgaNAta sUryAca ca kunti kanyAyAM jajJe karNò mahArathaH sahajaM kavacaM vibhrata kuNDalòddyòtitAnanaH || 1-57-82 ||

अनुग्रहार्थं लॊकानां विष्णुर लॊकनमस्कृतः वसुदेवात तु देवक्यां परादुर्भूतॊ महायशाः ।। १-५७-८३ ।।

'And Vishnu himself, of worldwide fame, and worshipped of all the worlds, was born of Devaki through Vasudeva, for the benefit of the three worlds.' ।। 1-57-83 ।।

anugrahArthaM lòkAnAM viSNura lòkanamaskRtaH vasudevAta tu devakyAM parAdurbhUtò mahAyazAH || 1-57-83 ||

'The God, beginningless and endless, is the creator and lord of the universe. The imperishable, unmanifest, formless Brahman is the supreme, transcendental, and attributeless self.' ।। 1-57-84 ।।

anAdi nidhanò devaH sa kartA jagataH parabhuH avyaktama akSaraM barahma paradhAnaM nirguNAtmakama || 1-57-84 ||

आत्मानम अव्ययं चैव परकृतिं परभवं परम पुरुषं विश्वकर्माणं सत्त्वयॊगं धरुवाक्षरम ।। १-५७-८५ ।।

'Certainly, he is the imperceptible source of all, untouched by decay, the omnipresent soul, the focal point around which all things revolve, and the essence in which the three attributes of Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas coexist.' ।। 1-57-85 ।।

AtmAnama avyayaM caiva parakRtiM parabhavaM parama puruSaM vizvakarmANaM sattvayògaM dharuvAkSarama || 1-57-85 ||
