युधिष्ठिरस तु रामेण समागच्छद यथाविधि मूर्ध्नि केशवम आघ्राय पर्यष्वजत बाहुना ॥ १-२१३-३६ ॥
'Finally, Kesava entered the palace of the king, which resembled the abode of Indra himself. Upon seeing Rama, Yudhishthira welcomed him with proper rituals and ceremonies.' ॥ 1-213-36 ॥

तं परीयमाणं कृष्णस तु विनयेनाभ्यपूजयत भीमं च पुरुषव्याघ्रं विधिवत परत्यपूजयत ॥ १-२१३-३७ ॥
'The king affectionately embraced Kesava and kissed his head. Govinda, pleased with the reception, respectfully worshipped Yudhishthira and paid homage to Bhima, the mighty hero among men.' ॥ 1-213-37 ॥

तांश च वृष्ण्यन्धकश्रेष्ठान धर्मराजॊ युधिष्ठिरः परतिजग्राह सत्कारैर यथाविधि यथॊपगम ॥ १-२१३-३८ ॥
'Yudhishthira the son of Kunti then received the other principal men of the Vrishni and the Andhaka tribes with due ceremonies.' ॥ 1-213-38 ॥

गुरुवत पूजयाम आस कांश चित कांश चिद वयस्यवत कांश चिद अभ्यवदत परेम्णा कैश चिद अप्य अभिवादितः ॥ १-२१३-३९ ॥
'Yudhishthira reverentially worshipped some as his superiors, welcomed others as equals, showed affection to some, and was worshipped with reverence by others.' ॥ 1-213-39 ॥

ततॊ ददौ वासुदेवॊ जन्यार्थे धनम उत्तमम हरणं वै सुभद्राया जञातिदेयं महायशाः ॥ १-२१३-४० ॥
'Krishna, the illustrious Vasudeva, then bestowed magnificent wealth as a gift to the relatives, ostensibly for a wedding, but in truth to facilitate the planned abduction of Subhadra.' ॥ 1-213-40 ॥
