ततॊ ददौ वासुदेवॊ जन्यार्थे धनम उत्तमम हरणं वै सुभद्राया जञातिदेयं महायशाः ॥ १-२१३-४० ॥

'Krishna, the illustrious Vasudeva, then bestowed magnificent wealth as a gift to the relatives, ostensibly for a wedding, but in truth to facilitate the planned abduction of Subhadra.' ॥ 1-213-40 ॥

english translation

tatò dadau vAsudevò janyArthe dhanama uttamama haraNaM vai subhadrAyA jaJAtideyaM mahAyazAH ॥ 1-213-40 ॥
