अथाययुर देवगणा विमानै; रुद्रादित्या वसवॊ ऽथाश्विनौ च साध्याश च सर्वे मरुतस तथैव; यमं पुरस्कृत्य धनेश्वरं च ॥ १-१७८-६ ॥
'And there came the celestials on their divine chariots—Rudras, Adityas, Vasus, Ashwins, Sadhyas, all the Maruts—accompanied by Kubera and Yama leading the way.' ॥ 1-178-6 ॥
english translation
दैत्याः सुपर्णाश च महॊरगश च; देवर्षयॊ गुह्यकाश चारणाश च विश्वावसुर नारद पर्वतौ च; गन्धर्वमुख्याश च सहाप्सरॊभिः ॥ १-१७८-७ ॥
'And there came the Daityas, Suparnas, great Nagas, celestial Rishis, Guhyakas, Charanas, Viswavasu, Narada, Parvata, and the chief Gandharvas with Apsaras.' ॥ 1-178-7 ॥
english translation
हलायुधस तत्र च केशवश च; वृष्ण्यन्धकाश चैव यथा परधानाः परेक्षां सम चक्रुर यदुपुंगवास ते; सथिताश च कृष्णस्य मते बभूवुः ॥ १-१७८-८ ॥
'And there were Halayudha (Balarama), Janardana (Krishna), and the chiefs of the Vrishni, Andhaka, and Yadava tribes, who followed Krishna's leadership, all present, observing the scene.' ॥ 1-178-8 ॥

दृष्ट्वा हि तान मत्तगजेन्द्र रूपान; पञ्चाभिपद्मान इव वारणेन्द्रान भस्मावृताङ्गान इव हव्यवाहान; पार्थान परदध्यौ स यदुप्रवीरः ॥ १-१७८-९ ॥
'And beholding those elephants in a rut—the five Pandavas—drawn towards Draupadi like mighty elephants to a lake overgrown with lotuses, or like fire covered in ashes, Krishna, the foremost hero of the Yadus, began to contemplate.' ॥ 1-178-9 ॥
english translation
शशंस रामाय युधिष्ठिरं च; भीमं च जिष्णुं च यमौ च वीरौ शनैः शनैस तांश च निरीक्ष्य रामॊ; जनार्दनं परीतमना ददर्श ॥ १-१७८-१० ॥
'And he said to Rama (Balarama), "That is Yudhishthira, that is Bhima with Jishnu (Arjuna), and those are the twin heroes."' ॥ 1-178-10 ॥
