अहं हि किंदमॊ नाम तपसाप्रतिमॊ मुनिः वयपत्रपन मनुष्याणां मृग्यां मैथुनम आचरम ।। १-१०९-२६ ।।

sanskrit

'I am a sage named Kindama, renowned for my asceticism. I engaged in sexual intercourse with this deer because my sense of modesty prevented me from performing such an act in human society.' ।। 1-109-26 ।।

'Becoming a deer, I roam the dense forest along with other deer. However, you, unaware, will not incur the sin of killing a Brahmin. Having killed me while I was in the form of a deer, you acted out of lust.' ।। 1-109-27 ।।

mRgò bhUtvA mRgaiH sArdhaM carAmi gahane vane na tu te barahmahatyeyaM bhaviSyatya avijAnataH mRgarUpadharaM hatvA mAma evaM kAmamòhitama || 1-109-27 ||

'During the last moments, as you depart along with the maiden, compelled by the power of fate, you will reach the inaccessible realm of the departed. With devotion, the wise among those who wield arrows will also follow you.' ।। 1-109-29 ।।

antakAle ca saMvAsaM yayA gantAsi kanyayA paretarAjavazaM parAptaM sarvabhUtaduratyayama bhaktyA matimatAM zareSTha saiva tavAma anuyAsyati || 1-109-29 ||
