यद इदं दृश्यते किं चिद भूतं सथावरजङ्गमम पुनः संक्षिप्यते सर्वं जगत पराप्ते युगक्षये ।। १-१-३६।।

sanskrit

'Whatever is seen here, the entire manifest world of moving and non-moving beings, is once again gathered back into its essence at the end of the cosmic cycle.' ।। 1-1-36 ।।

english translation

yada idaM dRzyate kiM cida bhUtaM sathAvarajaGgamama punaH saMkSipyate sarvaM jagata parApte yugakSaye || 1-1-36||

'After the conclusion of each Yuga, everything becomes intertwined once more. With the dawn of new Yugas, a cosmic renewal unfolds, akin to the orderly succession of diverse fruits following the natural rhythm of seasons on Earth.' ।। 1-1-37 ।।

yathartAva RtuliGgAni nAnArUpANi paryaye dRzyante tAni tAnya eva tathA bhAvA yugAdiSu || 1-1-37||
