पराचेतसस तथा दक्षॊ दष्क पुत्राश च सप्त ये ततः परजानां पतयः पराभवन्न एकविंशतिः ।। १-१-३१।।

'Then appeared the twenty-one Prajapatis, viz., Manu, Vasishtha, and Parameshthi; ten Prachetas, Daksha, and the seven sons of Daksha.' ।। 1-1-31 ।।

parAcetasasa tathA dakSò daSka putrAza ca sapta ye tataH parajAnAM patayaH parAbhavanna ekaviMzatiH || 1-1-31||

पुरुषश चाप्रमेयात्मा यं सर्वम ऋषयॊ विदुः विश्वे देवास तथादित्या वसवॊ ऽथाश्विनाव अपि ।। १-१-३२।।

'Then appeared the man of inconceivable nature whom all the Rishis know and so the Viswe-devas, the Adityas, the Vasus, and the twin Aswins;' ।। 1-1-32 ।।

puruSaza cAprameyAtmA yaM sarvama RSayò viduH vizve devAsa tathAdityA vasavò 'thAzvinAva api || 1-1-32||

यक्षाः साध्याः पिशाचाश च गुह्यकाः पितरस तथा ततः परसूता विद्वांसः शिष्टा बरह्मर्षयॊ ऽमलाः ।। १-१-३३।।

'the Yakshas, the Sadhyas, the Pisachas, the Guhyakas, and the Pitris. After these were produced the wise and most holy Brahmarshis and the numerous Rajarshis distinguished by every noble quality.' ।। 1-1-33 ।।

yakSAH sAdhyAH pizAcAza ca guhyakAH pitarasa tathA tataH parasUtA vidvAMsaH ziSTA barahmarSayò 'malAH || 1-1-33||

राजर्षयश च बहवः सर्वैः समुदिता गुणैः आपॊ दयौः पृथिवी वायुर अन्तरिक्षं दिशस तथा ।। १-१-३४।।

'Many royal sages, all endowed with various virtues, along with the waters, daylight, earth, air, space, and the cardinal directions.' ।। 1-1-34 ।।

संवत्सरर्तवॊ मासाः पक्षाहॊ रात्रयः करमात यच चान्यद अपि तत सर्वं संभूतं लॊकसाक्षिकम ।। १-१-३५।।

'The elements—water, heavens, earth, air, and the expansive sky—along with celestial directions, the passage of time in years, seasons, months, and the cycles of day and night, were all created in harmony. These are the fundamental aspects that have shaped our known world.' ।। 1-1-35 ।।
