तथेति राज्ञा सा तूक्ता तदा भरतसत्तम परहर्षम अतुलं लेभे पराप्य तं पार्थिवॊत्तमम ।। १-९२-३६ ।।

'"Agreed," the king declared. Consequently, the maiden, having secured the distinguished monarch of the Bharata lineage as her spouse, felt immense joy.' ।। 1-92-36 ।।

english translation

tatheti rAjJA sA tUktA tadA bharatasattama paraharSama atulaM lebhe parApya taM pArthivòttamama || 1-92-36 ||

आसाद्य शंतनुस तां च बुभुजे कामतॊ वशी न परष्टव्येति मन्वानॊ न स तां किं चिद ऊचिवान ।। १-९२-३७ ।।

'And king Santanu also, obtaining her for his wife, enjoyed to the full the pleasure of her company. And adhering to his promise, he refrained from asking her anything.' ।। 1-92-37 ।।

AsAdya zaMtanusa tAM ca bubhuje kAmatò vazI na paraSTavyeti manvAnò na sa tAM kiM cida UcivAna || 1-92-37 ||

'Having lived joyfully as Santanu's wife, she reaped the fruits of her virtuous deeds, securing for her husband a stature akin to that of Indra, the king of gods, in splendor.' ।। 1-92-40 ।।
