भाग्यॊपनत कामस्य भार्येवॊपस्थिताभवत शंतनॊ राजसिंहस्य देवराजसमद्युतेः ॥ १-९२-४० ॥

'Having lived joyfully as Santanu's wife, she reaped the fruits of her virtuous deeds, securing for her husband a stature akin to that of Indra, the king of gods, in splendor.' ॥ 1-92-40 ॥
