आसाद्य शंतनुस तां च बुभुजे कामतॊ वशी न परष्टव्येति मन्वानॊ न स तां किं चिद ऊचिवान ॥ १-९२-३७ ॥

'And king Santanu also, obtaining her for his wife, enjoyed to the full the pleasure of her company. And adhering to his promise, he refrained from asking her anything.' ॥ 1-92-37 ॥

AsAdya zaMtanusa tAM ca bubhuje kAmatò vazI na paraSTavyeti manvAnò na sa tAM kiM cida UcivAna ॥ 1-92-37 ॥
