स कदा चिन महाराज ददर्श परमस्त्रियम जाज्वल्यमानां वपुषा साक्षात पद्माम इव शरियम ॥ १-९२-२६ ॥
'And there he saw a lovely maiden of blazing beauty and like unto another Sri herself; of faultless and pearly teeth and decked with celestial ornaments, and attired in garments of fine texture that resembled in splendor the filaments of the lotus.' ॥ 1-92-26 ॥
english translation
sa kadA cina mahArAja dadarza paramastriyama jAjvalyamAnAM vapuSA sAkSAta padmAma iva zariyama ॥ 1-92-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वानवद्यां सुदतीं दिव्याभरणभूषिताम सूक्ष्माम्बरधराम एकां पद्मॊदर समप्रभाम ॥ १-९२-२७ ॥
'She was unrivaled in her beauty, adorned with divine ornaments, wearing fine garments, and possessing a slender waist, like a lotus stalk.' ॥ 1-92-27 ॥

sarvAnavadyAM sudatIM divyAbharaNabhUSitAma sUkSmAmbaradharAma ekAM padmòdara samaprabhAma ॥ 1-92-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतां दृष्ट्वा हृष्टरॊमाभूद विस्मितॊ रूपसंपदा पिबन्न इव च नेत्राभ्यां नातृप्यत नराधिपः ॥ १-९२-२८ ॥
'Upon seeing her, the king was filled with joy and wonder at her unparalleled beauty. He stared at her with eyes wide open, unable to satisfy himself, like one drinking nectar.' ॥ 1-92-28 ॥

tAM dRSTvA hRSTaròmAbhUda vismitò rUpasaMpadA pibanna iva ca netrAbhyAM nAtRpyata narAdhipaH ॥ 1-92-28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसा च दृष्ट्वैव राजानं विचरन्तं महाद्युतिम सनेहाद आगतसौहार्दा नातृप्यत विलासिनी ॥ १-९२-२९ ॥
'Seeing the king of radiant splendor moving with intense emotion, the maiden herself was stirred and felt a deep affection for him. She continued to gaze at him, her desire to keep looking at him growing stronger by the moment.' ॥ 1-92-29 ॥

sA ca dRSTvaiva rAjAnaM vicarantaM mahAdyutima sanehAda AgatasauhArdA nAtRpyata vilAsinI ॥ 1-92-29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptताम उवाच ततॊ राजा सान्त्वयञ शलक्ष्णया गिरा देवी वा दानवी वा तवं गन्धर्वी यदि वाप्सराः ॥ १-९२-३० ॥
'The king spoke gently to her, saying, "O graceful one, whether you are a goddess, a daughter of a Danava, from the lineage of Gandharvas, or an Apsara.' ॥ 1-92-30 ॥

tAma uvAca tatò rAjA sAntvayaJa zalakSNayA girA devI vA dAnavI vA tavaM gandharvI yadi vApsarAH ॥ 1-92-30 ॥
