वनस्पतींश चौषधीश चाविशन्ति; अपॊ वायुं पृथिवीं चान्तरिक्षम चतुष्पदं दविपदं चापि सर्वम; एवं भूता गर्भभूता भवन्ति ॥ १-८५-११ ॥

' Yayati explained, "They enter plants and herbs, water, air, earth, and the sky. They become part of every living form, whether four-legged or two-legged. In this way, beings, after being conceived in the womb, manifest in various forms throughout nature."' ॥ 1-85-11 ॥

vanaspatIMza cauSadhIza cAvizanti; apò vAyuM pRthivIM cAntarikSama catuSpadaM davipadaM cApi sarvama; evaM bhUtA garbhabhUtA bhavanti ॥ 1-85-11 ॥
