नानाभावा बहवॊ जीवलॊके; दैवाधीना नष्टचेष्टाधिकाराः तत तत पराप्य न विहन्येत धीरॊ; दिष्टं बलीय इति मत्वात्म बुद्ध्या ॥ १-८४-६ ॥

'In the diverse world of living beings, many have different destinies. Subject to fate, some have lost their authority through their own actions. Therefore, a wise person should not destroy others for their own gain, thinking, "I am powerful."' ॥ 1-84-6 ॥

english translation

nAnAbhAvA bahavò jIvalòke; daivAdhInA naSTaceSTAdhikArAH tata tata parApya na vihanyeta dhIrò; diSTaM balIya iti matvAtma buddhyA ॥ 1-84-6 ॥
