[वृ] नाधर्मं न मृषावादं तवयि जानामि भार्गव तवयि धर्मश च सत्यं च तत परसीदतु नॊ भवान ॥ १-७५-६ ॥
'Vrishaparvan then spoke, "O son of Bhrigu, I have never accused you of lacking virtue or truthfulness. Indeed, virtue and truth are ever present in you."' ॥ 1-75-6 ॥
english translation
यद्य अस्मान अपहाय तवम इतॊ गच्छसि भार्गव समुद्रं संप्रवेष्क्यामॊ नान्यद अस्ति परायणम ॥ १-७५-७ ॥
'Show mercy upon us! O Bhargava, should you indeed depart and leave us behind, our only recourse will be to seek refuge in the ocean's depths. Truly, we would be left with no other option.' ॥ 1-75-7 ॥
english translation
[षु] समुद्रं परविशध्वं वा दिशॊ वा दरवतासुराः दुहितुर नाप्रियं सॊढुं शक्तॊ ऽहं दयिता हि मे ॥ १-७५-८ ॥
'Sukra then responded, "O Asuras, whether you choose to delve into the ocean's depths or scatter to the ends of the earth matters little to me. My daughter's sorrow is something I cannot endure."' ॥ 1-75-8 ॥

परसाद्यतां देव यानी जीवितं हय अत्र मे सथितम यॊगक्षेम करस ते ऽहम इन्द्रस्येव बृहस्पतिः ॥ १-७५-९ ॥
'My daughter is exceedingly dear to me; my very life hinges on her well-being. Endeavor to gain her favor. Just as Vrihaspati constantly aims for Indra's welfare, I, through my ascetic merits, perpetually seek yours.' ॥ 1-75-9 ॥
english translation
[वृ] यत किं चिद असुरेन्द्राणां विद्यते वसु भार्गव भुवि हस्तिगवाश्वं वा तस्य तवं मम चेश्वरः ॥ १-७५-१० ॥
'Vrishaparvan then declared, "O Bhargava, you hold sovereign authority over all that the Asura chiefs possess in this world—be it their elephants, cattle, horses, and even myself!"' ॥ 1-75-10 ॥
