ततॊ लब्धवरा परीता सत्रीभावगुणभूषिता जगाम सह संसर्गम ऋषिणाद्भुत कर्मणा ॥ १-५७-६६ ॥
'Adorned with the virtues of a chaste woman, she, having obtained the desired boon, then went forth to meet the sage whose actions were truly extraordinary.' ॥ 1-57-66 ॥
english translation
tatò labdhavarA parItA satrIbhAvaguNabhUSitA jagAma saha saMsargama RSiNAdbhuta karmaNA ॥ 1-57-66 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतेन गन्धवतीत्य एव नामास्याः परथितं भुवि ततॊ यॊजनगन्धेति तस्या नाम परिश्रुतम ॥ १-५७-६७ ॥
'From that time onwards, she was recognized among humans as Gandhavati, the one with a sweet fragrance, and her scent could be discerned from a yojana away.' ॥ 1-57-67 ॥
english translation
tena gandhavatItya eva nAmAsyAH parathitaM bhuvi tatò yòjanagandheti tasyA nAma parizrutama ॥ 1-57-67 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपराशरॊ ऽपि भगवाञ जगाम सवं निवेशनम इति सत्यवती हृष्टा लब्ध्वा वरम अनुत्तमम ॥ १-५७-६८ ॥
'Parashar having thus addressed, departed for his abode. Satyavati, delighted, having obtained the excellent boon, was filled with joy.' ॥ 1-57-68 ॥

parAzarò 'pi bhagavAJa jagAma savaM nivezanama iti satyavatI hRSTA labdhvA varama anuttamama ॥ 1-57-68 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपराशरेण संयुक्ता सद्यॊ गर्भं सुषाव सा जज्ञे च यमुना दवीपे पाराशर्यः सवीर्यवान ॥ १-५७-६९ ॥
'And Satyavati gratified with having obtained the excellent boon in consequence of which she became sweet-scented and her virginity remained unsullied conceived through Parasara's embraces.' ॥ 1-57-69 ॥

parAzareNa saMyuktA sadyò garbhaM suSAva sA jajJe ca yamunA davIpe pArAzaryaH savIryavAna ॥ 1-57-69 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस मातरम उपस्थाय तपस्य एव मनॊ दधे समृतॊ ऽहं दर्शयिष्यामि कृत्येष्व इति च सॊ ऽबरवीत ॥ १-५७-७० ॥
'And she brought forth the very day, on an island in the Yamuna, the child begot upon her by Parasara and gifted with great energy. And the child, with the permission of his mother, set his mind on asceticism.' ॥ 1-57-70 ॥

sa mAtarama upasthAya tapasya eva manò dadhe samRtò 'haM darzayiSyAmi kRtyeSva iti ca sò 'baravIta ॥ 1-57-70 ॥
