स मातरम उपस्थाय तपस्य एव मनॊ दधे समृतॊ ऽहं दर्शयिष्यामि कृत्येष्व इति च सॊ ऽबरवीत ।। १-५७-७० ।।

sanskrit

'And she brought forth the very day, on an island in the Yamuna, the child begot upon her by Parasara and gifted with great energy. And the child, with the permission of his mother, set his mind on asceticism.' ।। 1-57-70 ।।

english translation

sa mAtarama upasthAya tapasya eva manò dadhe samRtò 'haM darzayiSyAmi kRtyeSva iti ca sò 'baravIta || 1-57-70 ||
