एवम उक्तवतीं तां तु परीतिमान ऋषिसत्तमः उवाच मत्प्रियं कृत्वा कन्यैव तवं भविष्यसि ॥ १-५७-६३ ॥
'Contemplating all these words, O great sage, perform the necessary actions." Pleased with her response, the revered sage assured her, "You will indeed maintain your virginity even as you fulfill my request."' ॥ 1-57-63 ॥
