संचिन्त्यैवं तदा राजा विचार्य च पुनः पुनः अमॊघत्वं च विज्ञाय रेतसॊ राजसत्तमः ॥ १-५७-४१ ॥
'Reflecting deeply on the matter, the king, after thorough contemplation, recognized the efficacy and repeatedly affirmed the potency of his semen.' ॥ 1-57-41 ॥
english translation
शुक्रप्रस्थापने कालं महिष्याः परसमीक्ष्य सः अभिमन्त्र्याथ तच छुक्रम आरात तिष्ठन्तम आशुगम सूक्ष्मधर्मार्थतत्त्वज्ञॊ जञात्वा शयेनं ततॊ ऽबरवीत ॥ १-५७-४२ ॥
'After observing the favorable time for seminal emission, he then carefully summoned his consorts, scrutinized them, and, having called forth the semen with appropriate mantras, skillfully impregnated the queen. Knowing the subtle principles of dharma and wealth, he then reclined on the bed.' ॥ 1-57-42 ॥
english translation
मत्प्रियार्थम इदं सौम्य शुक्रं मम गृहं नय गिरिकायाः परयच्छाशु तस्या हय आर्तवम अद्य वै ॥ १-५७-४३ ॥
'O gentle one, bring this semen of mine to my residence for the sake of my beloved. Quickly bring it for Girika, for today is her fertile time.' ॥ 1-57-43 ॥
english translation
गृहीत्वा तत तदा शयेनस तूर्णम उत्पत्य वेगवान जवं परमम आस्थाय परदुद्राव विहंगमः ॥ १-५७-४४ ॥
'The hawk, swift of speed, took it from the king and rapidly coursed through the air.' ॥ 1-57-44 ॥

तम अपश्यद अथायान्तं शयेनं शयेनस तथापरः अभ्यद्रवच च तं सद्यॊ दृष्ट्वैवामिष शङ्कया ॥ १-५७-४५ ॥
'While thus passing, the hawk was seen by another of his species. Thinking that the first one was carrying meat, the second one flew at him.' ॥ 1-57-45 ॥
