अहम एव च तं कालं वेत्स्यामि कुरुनन्दन तपसा महता चापि दास्यामि तव तान्य अहम ।। १-२२५-११ ।।

'Indra assures Arjuna, the pride of the Kuru dynasty, that he alone will determine the appropriate moment for bestowing the divine weapons, which will be granted as a result of Arjuna's intense spiritual austerities.' ।। 1-225-11 ।।

ahama eva ca taM kAlaM vetsyAmi kurunandana tapasA mahatA cApi dAsyAmi tava tAnya ahama || 1-225-11 ||

आग्नेयानि च सर्वाणि वायव्यानि तथैव च मदीयानि च सर्वाणि गरहीष्यसि धनंजय ।। १-२२५-१२ ।।

'Indra promises Arjuna, also known as Dhananjaya, that he will be granted not only his own divine weapons, but also those associated with the gods of Fire and Wind.' ।। 1-225-12 ।।

AgneyAni ca sarvANi vAyavyAni tathaiva ca madIyAni ca sarvANi garahISyasi dhanaMjaya || 1-225-12 ||

वासुदेवॊ ऽपि जग्राह परीतिं पार्थेन शाश्वतीम ददौ च तस्मै देवेन्द्रस तं वरं परीतिमांस तदा ।। १-२२५-१३ ।।

'Then Vasudeva requested that his friendship with Arjuna be eternal. The chief of the celestials granted this boon to the wise Krishna.' ।। 1-225-13 ।।

vAsudevò 'pi jagrAha parItiM pArthena zAzvatIma dadau ca tasmai devendrasa taM varaM parItimAMsa tadA || 1-225-13 ||

दत्त्वा ताभ्यां वरं परीतः सह देवैर मरुत्पतिः हुताशनम अनुज्ञाप्य जगाम तरिदिवं पुनः ।। १-२२५-१४ ।।

'Having granted these boons to Krishna and Arjuna, the lord of the Maruts ascended to heaven accompanied by the celestials. ' ।। 1-225-14 ।।

dattvA tAbhyAM varaM parItaH saha devaira marutpatiH hutAzanama anujJApya jagAma taridivaM punaH || 1-225-14 ||

पावकश चापि तं दावं दग्ध्वा समृगपक्षिणम अहानि पञ्च चैकं च विरराम सुतर्पितः ।। १-२२५-१५ ।।

'He also spoke to Hutasana (Agni), who had burnt that forest with its animals and birds for fifteen days, and Agni became satisfied and ceased to burn.' ।। 1-225-15 ।।

pAvakaza cApi taM dAvaM dagdhvA samRgapakSiNama ahAni paJca caikaM ca virarAma sutarpitaH || 1-225-15 ||
