अहम एव च तं कालं वेत्स्यामि कुरुनन्दन तपसा महता चापि दास्यामि तव तान्य अहम ॥ १-२२५-११ ॥

'Indra assures Arjuna, the pride of the Kuru dynasty, that he alone will determine the appropriate moment for bestowing the divine weapons, which will be granted as a result of Arjuna's intense spiritual austerities.' ॥ 1-225-11 ॥

ahama eva ca taM kAlaM vetsyAmi kurunandana tapasA mahatA cApi dAsyAmi tava tAnya ahama ॥ 1-225-11 ॥
