वसा मेदॊ वहाः कुल्यास तत्र पीत्वा च पावकः अगच्छत परमां तृप्तिं दर्शयाम आस चार्जुनम ॥ १-२२५-६ ॥
'Taking away wealth and provisions, and having drunk Soma there, the purifying Agni attained supreme satisfaction and appeared before Arjuna.' ॥ 1-225-6 ॥
english translation
ततॊ ऽनतरिक्षाद भगवान अवतीर्य सुरेश्वरः मरुद्गणवृतः पार्थं माधवं चाब्रवीद इदम ॥ १-२२५-७ ॥
'Then Purandara, surrounded by the Maruts, descended from the firmament and addressed Partha and Kesava, saying;' ॥ 1-225-7 ॥

कृतं युवाभ्यां कर्मेदम अमरैर अपि दुष्करम वरान वृणीतं तुष्टॊ ऽसमि दुर्लभान अप्य अमानुषान ॥ १-२२५-८ ॥
'You have achieved a feat that not even a celestial could accomplish. Each of you may now ask for a boon that is beyond the reach of any mortal. I am pleased with you.' ॥ 1-225-8 ॥

पार्थस तु वरयाम आस शक्राद अस्त्राणि सर्वशः गरहीतुं तच च शक्रॊ ऽसय तदा कालं चकार ह ॥ १-२२५-९ ॥
'Arjuna, also known as Partha, sought to acquire all celestial weapons from the god Indra, who in turn designated a specific time for this divine bestowal.' ॥ 1-225-9 ॥

यदा परसन्नॊ भगवान महादेवॊ भविष्यति तुभ्यं तदा परदास्यामि पाण्डवास्त्राणि सर्वशः ॥ १-२२५-१० ॥
'When the illustrious Madhava is pleased with you, O son of Pandu, then I will bestow upon you all my weapons!' ॥ 1-225-10 ॥
