तथा बहुविधं कृष्णां विलपन्तीं धनंजयः सान्त्वयाम आस भूयश च कषमयाम आस चासकृत ॥ १-२१३-१६ ॥

'Krishna lamented deeply in this manner. However, Dhananjaya repeatedly consoled her and sought her forgiveness.' ॥ 1-213-16 ॥

tathA bahuvidhaM kRSNAM vilapantIM dhanaMjayaH sAntvayAma Asa bhUyaza ca kaSamayAma Asa cAsakRta ॥ 1-213-16 ॥

सुभद्रां तवरमाणश च रक्तकौशेय वाससम पार्थः परस्थापयाम आस कृत्वा गॊपालिका वपुः ॥ १-२१३-१७ ॥

'Returning swiftly to where Subhadra stayed, adorned in red silk, Arjuna escorted her to the inner apartments, dressed not as a queen but in the humble attire of a cowherd woman.' ॥ 1-213-17 ॥

'Upon arriving at the palace, the renowned Subhadra looked even more beautiful in that attire. The celebrated Bhadra, with her large and slightly red eyes, first paid homage to Pritha.' ॥ 1-213-18 ॥

'Kunti, overflowing with affection, gently kissed the head of the girl with faultless features and bestowed countless blessings upon her. Then, with a face as radiant as the full moon, the girl hurried to Draupadi and reverently worshipped her, declaring, "I am your servant!"' ॥ 1-213-19 ॥

'Krishna, moved by affection, quickly embraced Madhava's sister and said, "May your husband be free from all adversaries!" Bhadra, filled with joy, replied to Draupadi, "So be it!"' ॥ 1-213-20 ॥
