ततस ते हृष्टमनसः पाण्डवेया महारथाः कुन्ती च परमप्रीता बभूव जनमेजय ॥ १-२१३-२१ ॥
'From that moment, O Janamejaya, the mighty Pandavas lived happily, and Kunti was also filled with joy.' ॥ 1-213-21 ॥

शरुत्वा तु पुण्डरीकाक्षः संप्राप्तं सवपुरॊत्तमम अर्जुनं पाण्डवश्रेष्ठम इन्द्रप्रस्थगतं तदा ॥ १-२१३-२२ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, "When Krishna, the scorcher of foes, whose soul was pure and eyes resembled lotus petals, heard that Arjuna, the foremost of the Pandavas, had reached his own splendid city of Indraprastha."' ॥ 1-213-22 ॥

आजगाम विशुद्धात्मा सह रामेण केशवः वृष्ण्यन्धकमहामात्रैः सह वीरैर महारथैः ॥ १-२१३-२३ ॥
'He came there accompanied by Rama and other heroes, along with the great warriors of the Vrishni and Andhaka tribes.' ॥ 1-213-23 ॥

भरातृभिश च कुमारैश च यॊधैश च शतशॊ वृतः सैन्येन महता शौरिर अभिगुप्तः परंतपः ॥ १-२१३-२४ ॥
'Surrounded by his brothers, sons, and hundreds of noble warriors, the valiant Parantapa was protected by a great army.' ॥ 1-213-24 ॥

तत्र दानपतिर धीमान आजगाम महायशाः अक्रूरॊ वृष्णिवीराणां सेनापतिर अरिंदमः ॥ १-२१३-२५ ॥
'To that place arrived Akrura, a man of great wisdom and fame, known for his boundless generosity. As the commander of the valiant Vrishni clan, he was a formidable conqueror of foes.' ॥ 1-213-25 ॥
