तेषां शरुत्वा सभा पालॊ भेरीं साम्नाहिकीं ततः समाजघ्ने महाघॊषां जाम्बूनदपरिष्कृताम ॥ १-२१२-११ ॥
'Having heard everything from the messengers, the chief officer of the court blew his resounding, gold-decked trumpet, summoning all to arms.' ॥ 1-212-11 ॥

कषुब्धास तेनाथ शब्देन भॊजवृष्ण्यन्धकास तदा अन्नपानम अपास्याथ समापेतुः सभां ततः ॥ १-२१२-१२ ॥
'The Bhojas, Vrishnis, and Andhakas, stirred by the sound, converged from all directions. Those eating set aside their food, and those drinking abandoned their drinks.' ॥ 1-212-12 ॥

ततॊ जाम्बूनदाङ्गानि सपर्ध्यास्तरणवन्ति च मणिविद्रुम चित्राणि जवलिताग्निप्रभाणि च ॥ १-२१२-१३ ॥
'Then came into view chariots with bodies of gleaming gold, adorned with competitive splendor. These magnificent vehicles were embellished with an array of gems and corals, their brilliance rivaling that of a roaring fire.' ॥ 1-212-13 ॥

भेजिरे पुरुषव्याघ्रा वृष्ण्यन्धकमहारथाः सिंहासनानि शतशॊ धिष्ण्यानीव हुताशनाः ॥ १-२१२-१४ ॥
'Those valorous men, the great warriors of the Vrishni and Andhaka clans, then took their seats on their thousand thrones of gold, adorned with exquisite carpets and embellished with gems and corals, radiating the brilliance of blazing fire.' ॥ 1-212-14 ॥

तेषां समुपविष्टानां देवानाम इव संनये आचख्यौ चेष्टितं जिष्णॊः सभा पालः सहानुगः ॥ १-२१२-१५ ॥
'As they sat together, resembling assembled gods, the chief of the assembly narrated the achievements and actions of the victorious ones.' ॥ 1-212-15 ॥
