'Dhritarashtra's intervention to rescue Draupadi, submerged in the distressing aftermath of the gambling, parallels the act of salvaging a boat tossed amidst tempestuous waves. Despite this, Duryodhana persistently endeavors to entice Yudhishthira back into the perilous game.' ।। 1-2-102 ।।

एतत सर्वं सभा पर्व समाख्यातं महात्मना अध्यायाः सप्ततिर जञेयास तथा दवौ चात्र संख्यया ।। १-२-१०३ ।।

'These constitute what has been called by the great Vyasa the Sabha Parva. This parva is dividedinto seventh-eight sections, O best of Brahmanas, of two thousand, five hundred and seven slokas.' ।। 1-2-103 ।।
