एतत सर्वं सभा पर्व समाख्यातं महात्मना अध्यायाः सप्ततिर जञेयास तथा दवौ चात्र संख्यया ।। १-२-१०३ ।।

'These constitute what has been called by the great Vyasa the Sabha Parva. This parva is dividedinto seventh-eight sections, O best of Brahmanas, of two thousand, five hundred and seven slokas.' ।। 1-2-103 ।।

english translation

etata sarvaM sabhA parva samAkhyAtaM mahAtmanA adhyAyAH saptatira jaJeyAsa tathA davau cAtra saMkhyayA || 1-2-103 ||
