परज्ञावन्तौ नरश्रेष्ठाव अस्मिँल लॊके नराधिप तवन्निमित्तम अतॊ नेमौ किं चिज जिह्मं वदिष्यतः इति मे नैष्ठिकी बुद्धिर वर्तते कुरुनन्दन ।। १-१९७-९ ।।

sanskrit

'Endowed with wisdom, O king, these foremost of men will never offer you deceitful counsel. O scion of the Kuru dynasty, I firmly believe that these two, well-versed in all principles of righteousness, will never, for the sake of wealth, utter anything that betrays a bias or partisanship.' ।। 1-197-9 ।।

english translation

parajJAvantau narazreSThAva asmi~la lòke narAdhipa tavannimittama atò nemau kiM cija jihmaM vadiSyataH iti me naiSThikI buddhira vartate kurunandana || 1-197-9 ||
