यावत कीर्तिर मनुष्यस्य न परणश्यति कौरव तावज जीवति गान्धारे नष्टकीर्तिस तु नश्यति ।। १-१९५-११ ।।

sanskrit

'O Kaurava, a person does not perish as long as their fame endures. One lives as long as one's fame lasts and dies when one's fame is gone.' ।। 1-195-11 ।।
