वसूनि विविधान भॊगान राज्यम एव च केवलम नात्याज्यम अस्ति कृष्णस्य पाण्डवार्थे महीपते ॥ १-१९४-१६ ॥
'Krishna is willing to sacrifice wealth, every pleasure, and even his kingdom for the sake of the Pandavas.' ॥ 1-194-16 ॥
english translation
विक्रमेण मही पराप्ता भरतेन महात्मना विक्रमेण च लॊकांस तरीञ जितवान पाकशासनः ॥ १-१९४-१७ ॥
'The illustrious Bharata had acquired the entire earth through his prowess alone, just as Indra had gained sovereignty over the three worlds through prowess alone.' ॥ 1-194-17 ॥

विक्रमं च परशंसन्ति कषत्रियस्य विशां पते सवकॊ हि धर्मः शूराणां विक्रमः पार्थिवर्षभ ॥ १-१९४-१८ ॥
'O king, prowess is always applauded by Kshatriyas. O bull among Kshatriyas, prowess is the cardinal virtue of the brave.' ॥ 1-194-18 ॥

ते बलेन वयं राजन महता चतुरङ्गिणा परमथ्य दरुपदं शीघ्रम आनयामेह पाण्डवान ॥ १-१९४-१९ ॥
'Therefore, O monarch, let us swiftly advance with our vast army composed of all four divisions, crush Drupada, and bring the Pandavas here without delay.' ॥ 1-194-19 ॥

न हि साम्ना न दानेन न भेदेन च पाण्डवाः शक्याः साधयितुं तस्माद विक्रमेणैव ताञ जहि ॥ १-१९४-२० ॥
'Indeed, the Pandavas cannot be discomfited by any strategy of conciliation, gift-giving, wealth, bribery, or division.' ॥ 1-194-20 ॥
