विक्रमेण मही पराप्ता भरतेन महात्मना विक्रमेण च लॊकांस तरीञ जितवान पाकशासनः ॥ १-१९४-१७ ॥

sanskrit

'The illustrious Bharata had acquired the entire earth through his prowess alone, just as Indra had gained sovereignty over the three worlds through prowess alone.' ॥ 1-194-17 ॥

english translation

vikrameNa mahI parAptA bharatena mahAtmanA vikrameNa ca lòkAMsa tarIJa jitavAna pAkazAsanaH ॥ 1-194-17 ॥
