'Vaisampayana continued, "Thus addressed by Arjuna, Karna, the adopted son of Radha, ceased fighting, believing that the power of Brahmanas is always invincible."' ।। 1-181-21 ।।

'After fighting fiercely for a brief moment, Bhima, the foremost among the Kuru heroes, lifted Salya in his arms and threw him a distance away. Bhimasena, the formidable warrior, astonished everyone with his skill, as he managed to hurl Salya to the ground without causing him significant harm.' ।। 1-181-25 ।।
