भराता च मम बालॊ ऽयं गते लॊकम अमुं तवयि अचिरेणैव कालेन विनश्येत न संशयः ।। १-१४७-७ ।।

sanskrit

'My brother is still young, and there is little doubt that he will perish if you die now. If you, my father, pass away and my brother follows you, the ancestral offerings will be suspended, greatly harming our ancestors.' ।। 1-147-7 ।।

english translation

bharAtA ca mama bAlò 'yaM gate lòkama amuM tavayi acireNaiva kAlena vinazyeta na saMzayaH || 1-147-7 ||
