आकाङ्क्षन्ते च दौहित्रान अपि नित्यं पितामहाः तान सवयं वै परित्रास्ये रक्षन्ती जीवितं पितुः ॥ १-१४७-६ ॥

sanskrit

'The ancestors seek grandsons through daughters like me (as a means of salvation). But I will ensure their salvation by protecting my father's life.' ॥ 1-147-6 ॥

english translation

AkAGkSante ca dauhitrAna api nityaM pitAmahAH tAna savayaM vai paritrAsye rakSantI jIvitaM pituH ॥ 1-147-6 ॥
