भुक्तं परियाण्य अवाप्तानि धर्मश च चरितॊ मया तवत परसूतिः परिया पराप्ता न मां तप्स्यत्य अजीवितम ॥ १-१४६-३१ ॥
'I have fulfilled my obligations and lived a righteous life, having enjoyed and attained everything. Your lineage has been ensured, and therefore, it will not be incomplete without me living.' ॥ 1-146-31 ॥
