जातपुत्रा च वृद्धा च परियकामा च ते सदा समीक्ष्यैतद अहं सर्वं वयवसायं करॊम्य अतः ॥ १-१४६-३२ ॥

'I have also borne you children who are very dear to me. Therefore, I am not troubled by the thought of death. I have fulfilled my duties as your wife and have grown old in your service. I have always desired your welfare. Reflecting on all these factors, I have made this decision.' ॥ 1-146-32 ॥
