'Hidimba, realizing her time with Bhimasena had ended, bid farewell to the Pandavas, set a new meeting time, and left for her desired destination.' ।। 1-143-36 ।।

english translation

saMvAsasamayò jIrNa itya abhASata taM tataH hiDimbA samayaM kRtvA savAM gatiM paratyapadyata || 1-143-36 ||

'Ghatotkacha, the foremost among Rakshasas, saying "I will come when the time for action arrives," took leave of his fathers and set out towards the northern direction.' ।। 1-143-37 ।।

'Indeed, the illustrious Indra created the mighty warrior Ghatotkacha by lending a portion of himself, making him a worthy adversary for the formidable Karna, in anticipation of the deadly dart Indra had given to Karna, which was certain to kill its target.' ।। 1-143-38 ।।
