भरातुर वचनम आज्ञाय तवरमाणेव राक्षसी जगाम तत्र यत्र सम पाण्डवा भरतर्षभ ॥ १-१३९-११ ॥
'In response to Hidimva's words in the forest, the female cannibal, under her brother's command, proceeded to the location of the Pandavas, O noble scion of Bharata's lineage.' ॥ 1-139-11 ॥
english translation
bharAtura vacanama AjJAya tavaramANeva rAkSasI jagAma tatra yatra sama pANDavA bharatarSabha ॥ 1-139-11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptददर्श तत्र गत्वा सा पाण्डवान पृथया सह शयानान भीमसेनं च जाग्रतं तव अपराजितम ॥ १-१३९-१२ ॥
'Arriving there, she saw the Pandavas sleeping alongside their mother, while the unconquerable Bhimasena remained awake.' ॥ 1-139-12 ॥
english translation
dadarza tatra gatvA sA pANDavAna pRthayA saha zayAnAna bhImasenaM ca jAgrataM tava aparAjitama ॥ 1-139-12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदृष्ट्वैव भीमसेनं सा शालस्कन्धम इवॊद्गतम राक्षसी कामयाम आस रूपेणाप्रतिमं भुवि ॥ १-१३९-१३ ॥
'Witnessing Bhimasena, unparalleled in beauty on earth and strong like a vigorous Sala tree, the Rakshasa woman instantly fell in love with him. She said to herself.' ॥ 1-139-13 ॥

dRSTvaiva bhImasenaM sA zAlaskandhama ivòdgatama rAkSasI kAmayAma Asa rUpeNApratimaM bhuvi ॥ 1-139-13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअयं शयामॊ महाबाहुः सिंहस्कन्धॊ महाद्युतिः कम्बुग्रीवः पुष्कराक्षॊ भर्ता युक्तॊ भवेन मम ॥ १-१३९-१४ ॥
'This mighty-armed one lying here, with shoulders like a lion, radiating great splendor, with a neck like a conch-shell, and lotus-eyed, shall become my husband.' ॥ 1-139-14 ॥

ayaM zayAmò mahAbAhuH siMhaskandhò mahAdyutiH kambugrIvaH puSkarAkSò bhartA yuktò bhavena mama ॥ 1-139-14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनाहं भरातृवचॊ जातु कुर्यां करूरॊपसंहितम पतिस्नेहॊ ऽतिबलवान न तथा भरातृसौहृदम ॥ १-१३९-१५ ॥
'I shall never act against my brother's words, especially concerning matters of marriage. The affection of a husband, though exceedingly strong, does not equal that of brotherly love.' ॥ 1-139-15 ॥

nAhaM bharAtRvacò jAtu kuryAM karUròpasaMhitama patisnehò 'tibalavAna na tathA bharAtRsauhRdama ॥ 1-139-15 ॥
