नाहं भरातृवचॊ जातु कुर्यां करूरॊपसंहितम पतिस्नेहॊ ऽतिबलवान न तथा भरातृसौहृदम ।। १-१३९-१५ ।।

sanskrit

'I shall never act against my brother's words, especially concerning matters of marriage. The affection of a husband, though exceedingly strong, does not equal that of brotherly love.' ।। 1-139-15 ।।

english translation

nAhaM bharAtRvacò jAtu kuryAM karUròpasaMhitama patisnehò 'tibalavAna na tathA bharAtRsauhRdama || 1-139-15 ||
